    Agroindustria promete ingresar US$ 5.000 millones si el Gobierno baja las retenciones a la soja

La agroindustria dijo que podría ingresar divisas al país por unos US$ 5.000 millones si el Gobierno reduce las retenciones a la soja.

En el panel de cierre de la Experiencia IDEA Rosario, el titular de Cámara de la Industria Aceitera (CIARA), Gustavo Idígoras, estimó que si el Gobierno baja las retenciones del 33% al 25%, sería posible alcanzar esas liquidaciones en los próximos seis meses.

El ingreso de divisas es clave para el Gobierno, ya que necesita robustecer las reservas en un escenario de fuertes vencimiento de deuda en el 2025.

Idígoras también reveló que desde CIARA estuvieron dialogando con el Gobierno sobre la cuestión, mencionando que “ellos están de acuerdo con el planteo, no con los tiempos que les decimos”.

Entre junio y julio el Banco Central no pudo acumular reservas, ya que la agroindustria bajó el nivel de liquidación de divisas.

Además, la autoridad monetaria debió salir a intervenir en el mercado cambiario, vendiendo divisas.
